1. General Information
Welcome to Freedom Transport! By using our website, mobile app, and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they contain important information regarding your rights, obligations, and limitations.
2. Booking and Reservations
NDIS and Aged Care Clients: If you are booking through the NDIS or an aged care provider, you must provide all necessary information, including your NDIS or aged care plan details, for accurate billing and service provision.
• Private Bookings: For private clients, full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and online payment methods.
• Booking Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed via email or SMS, which will include the date, time, and pick-up/drop-off locations.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
• NDIS, NIISQ and Aged Care Clients: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any charges being billed to your plan.
Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees.
• Private Bookings: Private clients must cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled service to receive a full refund. Cancellations after this period will incur the full fare price excluding km's and no refund as we have to pay our driver.
• Force Majeure: In case of unforeseen events such as extreme weather, vehicle breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our control, we may cancel or reschedule your service without penalty.
4. Payment Terms
NDIS/Aged Care Billing: For NDIS and aged care clients, we will invoice your provider directly. You are responsible for ensuring your plan covers the service booked. Any declined payments or uncovered amounts will be billed to you directly.
• Private Clients: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment methods. If a payment fails, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
5. Service and Liability
Service Guarantee: We guarantee that we will provide safe, reliable, and timely transport, but delays may occur due to traffic, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Liability: Freedom Transport is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to missed appointments or delays. However, we will do everything within our control to ensure prompt and professional service.
• Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Any damage caused to our vehicles or staff due to inappropriate behavior may result in additional charges or denial of future service.
6. Safety and Accessibility
• Vehicle Accessibility: Our vehicles are equipped to transport wheelchair users and other individuals with mobility needs. Please inform us during booking if you have any specific requirements.
• Driver Assistance: Our drivers are trained to assist passengers with getting in and out of the vehicle, securing mobility devices, and ensuring a comfortable journey.
7. Privacy and Data Protection

8. Modifications to Terms

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
